Plastpol 2024: Innovations in the world of plastics - photo gallery part 1, halls E, F, G

The latest solutions in plastics moulding and extrusion, cutting-edge technology with photovoltaic panels, advanced raw materials and services for the plastics and rubber processing industry. We saw all this and much more at Targi Kielce, which took place from 21 to 24 May 2024.

Plastpol Expo is the most important event for the plastics processing industry in Central and Eastern Europe. 600 companies from 30 countries presented innovative solutions. Visitors saw thousands of working machines, including injection and extrusion machines, production lines and recycling equipment. 7 exhibition halls in Targi Kielce were transformed into a working factory with tools, raw materials and recyclates. Energy efficiency and sustainable development were a priority.

Wittmann Battenfeld presented its latest EcoPower DC injection moulding machine and the DC-powered WX142 DC robot. Green energy solutions such as photovoltaic cells were also shown. The PRIMUS series robot with the latest R9 control was also on display, the Polish premiere of this system.

Arburg presented the Allrounder 720 E Golden Electric injection moulding machine at Plastpol. The Allrounder 470 H Comfort injection moulding machine with hybrid drive produced 0.5-litre beer glasses in a cycle time of 31 seconds.

Another company, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, also has a strong position in the global market and has introduced an innovative technology for energy efficiency and precision plastics processing - an energy-saving, complex production cell based on a fully electric injection moulding machine - the IntElect2 180/570-250 series.

TMA Automation presented a new robot for overmoulding combined with IML and assembly at the Engel Polska stand. Engel offered the latest generation of WINTEC machines, including the t-win servo-hydraulic twin platen machine, aimed at production efficiency and reliability. Muehsam and GM Color exhibited depalletisers and electric machines. Innovative solutions in the field of extrusion and injection moulding machines and production lines were presented by companies such as Wadim Plast, Krauss Maffei Technologies, LS Mtron, TOYO Europe, Weber, Top Technik, Dopak, Tecnova, RR Plast Extrusions and Plastiblow.

The latest granulates and recyclates at Targi Kielce
Companies offering raw materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene granulates, dyes and recyclates have a prominent place at Targi Kielce. Among the exhibitors are Polish companies such as Azoty and Anwil. ML Polyolefins will present the TECHFIN range of polypropylene recyclates, Permedia will showcase PFAS-free process additives and Polimarky will celebrate its 40th anniversary. European and global leaders in distribution such as Brenntag, Bedeko Europe and Nexeo Plastics are also exhibiting at the show.
