Piovan was founded in 1934 as a company focused on mechanical engineering. In 1964, the company entered the plastics industry, specializing in the production of peripherals, and today is a world leader in its field.
The product portfolio includes machines and systems for storage and suction of granules, drying of granules, dosing and mixing of components, crushers and mills for processing plastic waste, tempering units and systems for cooling process water. The systems may include supervisory software that allows easy management of all plant peripherals via remote access.
Currently, Piovan is part of the Piovan Group, which also includes Aquatech, FDM, Penta, Progema and Energys. The multinational organization has 8 production plants in Italy, Germany, the USA, Brazil and China, with its own branches in 30 countries and sales offices in more than 70 countries with a total of 1,100 employees worldwide.
With this global sales and technical assistance, Piovan Group offers its partner capabilities in engineering, design and creation of turnkey central systems and innovative solutions hand in hand with market requirements and technological development with an emphasis on the recirculation economy.
The group is headquartered in Santa Maria di Sala (VE), Italy.
