Conferences and discussions at Plastpol

The exhibition focused on the plastics processing industry and was complemented by conferences dedicated to the most up-to-date development issues. The PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation, the industry representative of plastics manufacturers and processors in Poland, presented up-to-date data on the current situation of the Polish plastics industry against a pan-European backdrop. The latest industry news and the most up-to-date data from the Central Statistical Office were presented. The most important challenges related to the changing plastics legislation were also brought into the spotlight. The Foundation is also preparing an exhibition "The Plastics Transition" in line with the concept "How will the plastics system in Europe change by 2050?"; the session is an industry roadmap to achieve a circular and zero net emission plastics system in Europe by 2050. On the boards displayed in the exhibition halls of Targi Kielce, we could learn about the market share of biomass plastics, the reduction of CO2 emissions in the plastics system, etc.

The PLASTECH INFO technical seminar was held in cooperation with the tworzywa.pl website; the Targi Kielce meeting is an indispensable source of knowledge. This year's meeting was held under the motto "Monitoring and optimisation of process parameters in plastics processing technologies".

Important information was provided at the conference organised by TMBK Partners - "A sustainable approach to eco-transformation in polymer materials". The conference was initiated by the growing need to implement changes in the plastics industry and to evolve towards sustainable production and efficient recycling methods. Experts discussed "Green alternatives in polymer synthesis and polymer composites" and "Recycling and reuse of plastic waste".

The Omniplast competition is an integral part of the Plastpol trade fair - the competition is organised in cooperation with the tworzywa.pl website and is aimed at exhibitors. Popularisation of knowledge about plastics processing is the main objective of the competition. Participants stress that participation in this competition results in the expansion of information and knowledge that helps them in their daily work. The financial prizes awarded at the prize-giving ceremony are also valuable. The total prize fund of the tournament amounts to 18 thousand PLN.

The 28th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Plastpol brought the latest innovations in plastics processing, production methods focused on sustainability and live machine demonstrations. Read more at www.targikielce.pl/plastpol
