Piovan was founded in 1934 as a company focused on mechanical engineering. In 1964, it expanded into the plastics industry, specializing in the development and production of peripheral equipment.
Today, Piovan is part of the Piovan Group, which also includes Aquatech, FDM, Penta, Progema, and Energys. The group operates 8 production plants in Italy, Germany, the USA, Brazil, and China, with representation in 30 countries and a commercial network covering more than 70 countries. Piovan specializes in the development, manufacturing, and supply of technologies for the storage, suction, pneumatic conveying, and vacuum transport of granules, ensuring efficient logistics in production. To support this, they offer granule loaders and comprehensive central systems.
