Possibility of high production efficiency thanks to DESMA
The basic machine with a footprint of less than 4.5 m² offers ideal conditions especially for the small-batch production of precision seals. The change of form or mixture can be done quickly. The FIFO C injection system (100ccm, 2450 bar) with integrated PlastControl and swing-out extruder unit makes it possible. If necessary, the plasticizing screw can be removed within a very short time for inspection or cleaning. For HTV silicone applications, the new cartridge tamping unit, CartridgePlus, allows easy material changeover with virtually no loss.
This system is equipped with a PartnerFlexCell, which is equipped with a collaborating 6-axis robot system and features a new CE-compliant safety concept with three-dimensional scanner protection. This enables the cooperation of robot/machine/human without mechanical safety guards. The operator pre-loads the inserts during the heating time for several cycles. Thus an enormous time saving is given with constant cycle sequence and best article quality. The PartnerFlexCell is also designed in such a way that it can be easily transferred to other machines. Thus, pure machine operation or system operation is possible by switching over.
A ZeroWaste ITM system with a mould for the production of small rubber-metal articles is also used on this machine. The placement of the metal parts into the mould is done by the robot.
