The company SILON s.r.o. has decided to enlarge their TABOREN product portfolio for non-flammable PP compounds
For this we use flame retardants of various types, whether they are halogen-based additives or completely halogen-free types. Materials with these characteristics are intended for processing both by injection molding and by extrusion or blow molding. In addition to these highly specialized ones, we have a number of new compounds modified with elastomers, which give the materials unique properties that are unprecedented in conventional base polymers. Above all, it is an excellent toughness combined with decent rigidity and hardness, which are maintained even at very low temperatures, and even in terms of heat resistance, our materials have nothing to be ashamed of. Another great advantage is the excellent ability to form a single-phase mixture with the base polymer, which is subsequently reflected in the mechanical properties of these compounds. They can be used both for injection molded parts and for extrusion applications. Their emission-free behavior and zero odor open the way for them to the automotive industry, where these properties are a basic prerequisite for use.
