SILON continues to strengthen its position: SILON CZ Recycling becomes a new member of the group

SILON, a major compounding company, announces the acquisition of recycling company PESL. The new company will now operate under the name SILON CZ Recycling.

SILON, a major compounding company, is announcing the acquisition of the PESL recycling company. The acquired company, located approximately 100 km northeast of Prague, has a 30-year history and is transitioning to SILON Group with all assets, employees, and technology. The new company will now operate under the name SILON CZ Recycling.

This newly established member of the SILON Group will continue operating as an independent entity and will be able to provide customers with recycling services of 8 000 MT per year, with a mid-term plan to increase the capacity to 20 000 MT per year.

“This acquisition is a significant milestone in the expansion strategy of the SILON Group, demonstrating the commitment of the group to the circular economy. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the efficiency of plastic recycling in Europe and to increase the consumption of recycled-based products with new solutions,“ said SILON Group CEO Mr. Shukhrat Saidov.

SILON was founded in 1950 and operates two production plants in the Czech Republic and the United States. With a compounding capacity exceeding 100 000 MT per year, the SILON Group entities supply their clients in more than 45 countries worldwide.
