Chopped strand for thermoplastics compounding (PA6, PA66, PPA, PP, PE, PBT, PET, PPS, PVA, PC/ABS, Styrenics, PVC)
- ThermoFlow® chopped strands and StarStran® chopped strands are specifically engineered to excel in various applications and processes, notably in thermoplastic reinforcement. JM chopped strands are known for their excellent strand integrity, clean feeding, and consistent fiber distribution.
Chopped strand for other processes (UP, Phenolics, Gypsum slurries)
- ThermoFlow® and StarStran® chopped strands reinforce UP and phenolic resins.
- DuraCore® wet chopped strands boost the properties of plasterboard in critical areas such as fire performance and water and impact resistance.
Single-end and Multi-end roving (PA, PP, PPS/PPA/PBT, PU, UP, epoxy, vinyl ester, thermoplastic resins)
- StarRov® is the brand name mentioned, referring to a single-end roving product. This product is well-suited for a variety of fabric processes, including LFT or D-LFT processes, tapes, pultrusion, weaving, and filament winding. It offers a range of benefits, such as exceptional mechanical properties, low VOC, excellent bundle opening, rapid impregnation, perfect wet-out, high dry strength, and minimal fuzz for an enhanced experience.
- MultiStar® introduces our specialized multi-end rovings, crafted to enhance fiberglass distribution, wetting, and bonding and significantly reduce fuzz. These rovings are specifically optimized for a range of applications, including SMC/BMC thermoset composite materials, the production of long-fiber reinforced PU panels, thermoset weaving applications, LFI (PU) and headliner production, and GMT and spray-up processes.
- Introducing Neomera® PA-6 Organosheets, created through a seamless process involving low-viscosity monomer impregnation of fabric reinforcements and in-situ polymerization. Neomera® offers versatile possibilities as it can be used as is or undergo further processing. It is exceptionally well-suited for thermoforming, stamping, and various compression processes. Engineered to thrive in the most demanding environments within transportation and industrial applications, the Neomera® OS-6 series (2/2 twill woven fabric) stands out for its remarkable strength, stiffness, and outstanding impact resistance. Similarly, the Neomera® NCF-6 series (UD or +45°/-45°/+45° non-crimp fabrics) is known for its high strength, stiffness, impact resistance, and formability. Additionally, Neomera® PA-6 organosheets can also be customized to include other fabrics, such as carbon fibers or hybrid systems, upon request.
