Polypropylene filled with glass fibers characterized by high melt flow indices from Safic - Alcan

The company SILON s.r.o. comes to the market with a new material, which is polypropylene filled with glass fibers characterized by high melt flow indices while maintaining excellent mechanical properties and very low values of organic carbon emissions.

Thanks to excellent flow properties, these materials are predestined for injection molding of large and articulated parts such as washing machine drums, large-area covers, thick-walled structural parts, pipe fittings, etc. For various applications, PP-GF20, PP-GF30 and PP-GF40 are equipped with a number stabilization, which allows them to function well both in the open air and under the hood at high temperatures. Another key product of the TABOREN business line is a compound based on an impact resistant PP copolymer filled with 20% mineral filler. It is designed for blow molding technology and finds its application in healthcare, specifically in the production of special hospital beds. Thanks to its excellent quality at an affordable price, it has found its customers both at home and abroad, and the beds, of which it is an important part, are sold literally all over the world.
