DESMA welcomes the new technical managing director Dr. Michael Zaun and presents new production solutions at the K trade fair in D�sseldorf

Dr. Zaun completed his studies in general mechanical engineering at the RWTH in Aachen, Germany, before working as a research assistant and doctoral student at the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Controls there, where he received his doctorate with honors in 2007.

After he then successfully continued his professional career in well-known companies of hydraulic and thermotechnology, first as design manager and then as managing director, Dr. Michael Zaun is now looking forward to the task ahead of him: 'My change to DESMA is for me a happy and consistent further development from a developer for hydraulic components, via a supplier of peripheral equipment for the plastics processing industry, now to the market leader for plastics processing machines for elastomer technology. I am very pleased to be able to play a responsible role in the further development of this technologically highly advanced company from now on.'

At the K 2022 in Düsseldorf from 19-26.10.2022 in hall 16 at booth 56 DESMA presents many new developments, which have been initiated among others by e-mobility, the structural change in the energy supply sector and by large projects in the infrastructure sector. The new technologies for the generation of green energies and their distribution are trend-setting. But the sustainable and resource-conserving consumption of water is also an enormously important topic that has moved strongly into the global focus in recent years.
