The company 4GRAIN, s.r.o. focuses on the surface finishing of plastics injection moulds. It also offers services in the field of repair, unification and gloss change of mold patterns, as well as chemical description of molds.

Our main objective is to assist our clients the best we can. We want to meet the clients’ needs and to keep improving the quality of our services. This is why we have put into practice a non-stop service (possibly as a first Czech company in this field). This novelty is much appreciated by our clients for whom a flexible and an expert problem solution is crucial. We are aware of a time crunch, which is always before the completion of mold production and therefore you try to go as much as possible by ensuring that our delivery times are 2 days after receiving the shipment back towards you. Some even on the "delay".

Gloss measuring »

Gloss meter ZEHNTNER is a precise gloss meter of new generation, designed to determine gloss of all ranges: it measures gloss on various types of surfaces, from matt to high gloss; and it is applicable in any branch of industry. The uniqueness of ZEHNTNER consists on its small dimensions (one of the smallest ones on the market!). The size of its head is only 15×15 mm which enables to measure gloss even on the smallest areas where other testing instruments fail. Except measuring, we can also modify gloss to required level. A measurement protocol will be provided on your request.

Using this technique we are able to acquire a very precise and a great quality imprint. The imprints applied by this method are highly contrasted, durable and mechanically resistible. This method is very suitable for engravings on various types of metals, regardless the shape of the surface (flat or curved). Chemical engraving is widely used in mechanical engineering.
